Per IntraFi’s recent survey of bank executives, 93% expect competition for deposits to increase or remain unchanged over the next year. Since hitting a low point of 25% in the first quarter of 2023 the percentage of respondents experiencing greater loan demand has increased. This quarter 46% of bankers note higher loan demand.
