IBA’s Ag. Bankers Committee is dedicated to supporting and promoting the agricultural banking industry in Idaho. Led by ag-lending bank professionals from across Idaho, the IBA Ag. Committee is focused on providing first-class educational opportunities as well as promoting Idaho agriculture and rural Idaho communities.

Each year, the Idaho Ag. Conference is recognized as one of the top agricultural conferences in the state. From federal farm policy updates to crop and livestock market reports to best management practices for Ag industry leaders, this conference provides the information and knowledge sought by the modern agricultural lender.

This year’s conference includes speakers such as Dr. David Kohl of Virginia Tech, Mark Gold from Top Third Ag Marketing and Steve Apodaca with the ABA.  IBA has secured panelists for what could be called the “end all be all” of water panels and also our commodity panel moderated by Idaho Dept. of Agriculture Director Celia Gould.  In addition to our awesome speakers and panelists the IBA has secured tours of Chobani, Lamb Westen and the Amalgamated Sugar Research Facility, golf at Blue Lakes Country Club and Dinner at Snyder Winery in Buhl. Please take to time if you have not done so already and register to attend or encourage others in your institutions to attend.  Our agenda is not exclusive to Ag. Bankers and the agenda includes opportunities to learn.

Please make hotel reservations by calling the Hilton Garden Inn – Twin Falls directly at 208-733-8500. Please request rooms under the “IBA Agricultural Bankers Education Conference” block to secure rooms at the discounted rate of $119, plus tax. The room block will be held until Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Reservations will only be accepted on a space available basis after that date.
